Ming Wu's Biography
When Ming Wu won two Grand Champion titles in
the year 2000, they were the symbolic crowning for the countless
hours she has dedicated to the discipline of Tai Chi since
1995.
Ming has won many awards for her martial arts, over seventy-five
in the hand and weapon forms. Her passionate pursuit of martial
arts still continues.
She buoyantly rises early each morning and approaches her
Tai Chi with the vigor and enthusiasm of one who is eager
to further discover, and to share with others, the secret
wisdom of this ancient tradition.
Ming Wu is from Hong Kong, where her early martial arts exposure
included a part in Bruce Lee's cinema: "Enter the Dragon."
Since then, she has studied and performed with some of the
world's top Tai Chi masters including: Feng Zhi Qang, Zho
da Yuan, and master Chen Ke of the Wu Shu Academy in Beijing;
and the San Francisco, Bay Area's Johnny Jang and Bryant Foung.
Ming has been teaching Tai Chi and Chi Gong since 1997.

Daily I practice Chi Kung,
giving me the feeling of peace. Every day it gives me energy,
it channels my tranquility, it nourishes my spirit, and my
psychic power. It allows me to be what I am. ~Not only to
date, but I know it will also keep me going in the future.
It connects me with the Earth Mother. Chi Kung makes me feel
light and it gives spirit. This practice makes it easy for
me to speak with God.
It accesses my mysterious celestial connection. The gentle
silken thread of terrestrial breathing opens my third eye.
It centers my focus and I gain wisdom. I experience the presence
of God. She blesses me and give me good fortune, good health
and settle my roots.
My life is based on the smooth and slow breath of inhalation
and the gentle control of small amount of exhalation for the
desire of longevity. The celestial and terrestrial breath
are united in my field of immortality. Each celestial breath
pulls me closer to grounding,.
Chi Kung enlightens my path of life. It provides awareness
of the past, present and the future, It gives me a sense of
the meaning in life. Being grounded enable me to focus on
my life root, and I rise above all matters. It crystallize
my mind, it is always clear. This is turn nourishes my memories.
Chi Kung is my life philosophy, and the quality of my life
depends upon it. Nothing can be more satisfying or more fun.
And doing it keeps my soul, spirit, body and mind alive. When
the chi is preserved in my mind, body and spirit.
All of the above benefits are the reason Chi Kung is art of
my life. I suspect thousands of others reap the same benefits
from regularly practicing this art. |
